Yup, London is a place of thin borders between rich and poor. Have you seen the Letters of Note blog? Englishman (wahey! gold like this usually comes from you lovely Americans across the pond) Shaun Usher has compiled letters and memos from people of note for your perusal.
Because of the site I came across this beautiful letter from John Steinbeck to his eldest son, on the subject of love. As you might imagine from one of the world’s most articulate and provocative writers, he sure does cover this subject extremely well.
