Thoughts about breaking a leg

I’ve broken my leg so there won’t be any blogs about London life for a little while. I don’t have any hobbies, I just spend my spare time exploring London and trying new things in the city, so to have that taken away for any amount of time was always going to leave a huge gap in my life.

It’s been just over a week since the accident and I’m frustrated by the lack of freedom. My mind is still sluggish after the operation and painkillers add to that weariness. To get my mind back on track and to collect my thoughts I’ve set myself the task of free writing a short blog post every couple of days.

Anything to stimulate my brain and make a connection with the outside world!

Hi London Blogger! I’m sorry to hear that you’ve broken your leg – how did you do that?! Ouch! It sounds like you’re feeling down… even though you can’t explore London, you can still immerse yourself in London culture, architecture, etc. as well as blog about it. How about entertaining yourself with awesome movies that take place in London and exploring all its neighborhoods that way? Then you can write some really great London movie reviews. My favourite movies that take place in London are “Match Point” and “Trance” – take a look and let me and your regular readers know what you think!!

That’s a great idea. I really enjoyed Match Point but haven’t seen Trance – I’ll try and get my hands on a copy. Really appreciate your comment, thanks!

    Oh no! Bad luck.

Maybe you could fill your days researching fun places to check out once the leg is healed? Definitely think the blogging will help keep your brain busy. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Thank you, and that’s a good idea. I’ve also decided to say yes to every opportunity that comes my way once the leg is heeled so lots of potential for new adventures later on. Blogging is clearing away the cobwebs so hopefully I’ll be able to write clearly and concisely again soon!
